About Us
It has been said that our lives are chronicled by the music of the times. Four on the Floor plays the classic songs from the baby boom generation; from the soulful sounds of the 50's and 60's to the pop,  disco and dance tunes  of the 70's and 80's.

Four on the Floor is professional high energy entertainment that is just right for your venue or function. The band can make your party or function come alive with great music from the golden age of rock and roll.

Since 1986 the band has played everything from public and  private parties, wedding's and benefits. Based in Fayetteville, Tennessee, Four on the Floor travels mainly the surrounding area and the southeastern United States.

                                                                         Introducing Four On The Floor:

He's a dancing machine and a lady's dream, he's got moves you've never seen; he's Mr. Smooth, ol' golden throat; there's always room for jell-o and there's always room for: Dwight "Twinkle Toes" King.

Guitar player extraordinaire, lead singer to which none compare, the definition of savoir-faire; careful ladies, he's not available but he is incomparable; he's paid his dues singing the blues: Pat "Let That Boy Boogie Woogie" Sloan.

On saxophones and flute, the man who'll put soul in yo bowl and a dip in yo hip; he's old school and he's so cool; there are no better sax players ladies and gentlemen. Period. "Mr. Magic": John Stewart.

The drummer/vocalist whose skins are tight, he's out-a-sight, and dynamite; he'll put ants in ya pants and ya have to dance; get ready to get on your good foot; the" Groove Meister": Rusty Reeves.

Get down uptown to his low down round wound sound; preaching the gospel on bass guitar and making it mo' funky; our musical leader, arranger, vocalist and all around good guy; the "Ace of Bass": Jim Sloan.

Over the shoulder guitar holder, fixer of teeth and rock-n-roller, hoppin' and boppin while the house is rockin', don't come late, don't bother knockin'; putting tasty licks in a tasty mix; "extraordinary guitarist and extraordinary dentist": Dr. Joe Widner.

We'd like to thank all of our fans for their continued support over these many years. Without all of you, this would be a lot like work!! We can furnish you with a promotional CD and further information by contacting us. Thanks again and we hope to see you soon.
